Topic: A NASCAR R&D executive who will outline the NASCAR approval process for drivers moving up from anything and everything from the K & N Series, to the NASCAR Camping World Truck, Nationwide and ultimately the Sprint Cup Series.

 

Joey Mancari

NASCAR Research and Development


Mancari joined NASCAR in 2003 and has served as race director for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, as well as Series Director for the former NASCAR Elite Division, Southwest Series.

Along with Brett Bodine, Mancari is part of the NASCAR Resume team which ultimately approves drivers to be able to race at the more advanced tracks. He will be speaking about how the NASCAR Resume process works and will give valuable inside information for drivers about the path best taken to advance if looking for a career in NASCAR.

Topic: A former crew chief for the late Davey Allison and Dale Earnhardt, now a racing commentator for FOX and SPEED who will talk from a media perspective, but a “racing Dad” currently supporting his son who is working his way up through the ranks. He will speak on both topics and share his invaluable experience and advice.
 

Larry McReynolds

Former NASCAR Crew Chief, TV Broadcaster, and Racing Parent

McReynolds was born in Birmingham, Alabama. His NASCAR career began in 1975. He worked his way up the ladder and took his first crew chief job in 1985. His first win as a crew chief was in 1988 at Watkins Glen with Ricky Rudd as the driver.

McReynolds was the winning crew chief for the 1992 Daytona 500, with driver Davey Allison, in the 28 Robert Yates Racing Ford Thunderbird. He joined Richard Childress Racing in 1996, and helped NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt win the 1998 Daytona 500.

At the end of the 2000 season, Larry made the hard decision to leave the Richard Childress owned #31 Lowe's Chevrolet and ventured into the Fox Sports broadcast booth with Mike Joy and three time Winston Cup champion Darrell Waltrip.

He is a roving reporter for the six Sprint Cup races on TNT during the 2007-11 Sprint Cup seasons.

He also father to NASCAR K&N Driver, Brandon McReynolds

Graduated from Arizona State University in 1995 Majored in International Business. Owned and operated an electronics manufacturing / importing  company for 15 years. Co-Founder of Racing 2 Cure (non-profit, public charity) and four time driver / finisher of the Baja 1000 off road race.
